Attractive Ann Rutherford of MGM does her bit for National Defense, touring the Army Camps and Navy Bases in Maryland and Virginia. The concluding highlight was the commissioning of Miss Rutherford as an Honorary Top Sergeant at Camp Lee, VA. The two-week tour included Camp Meade, MD, Fort Eustis, VA, Fort Story, VA, the Norfolk Naval Air Station, Camp Pendleton, VA, the Portsmouth Naval Hospital and Camp Lee, VA. The above photograph shows Ann Rutherford visiting with and making the world seem a bit brighter for hospitalized soldiers..
