9-11 COMMEMORATION
Composite Graphic: 9-11 Commemoration Ceremony
On 11 September 2002, the Fort Meade Museum hosted a commemorative ceremony for the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks.  The Installation Commander at the time, COL John Ives, made a few comments (upper right) and then, with the Provost Marshal (LTC Demps) and the Fire Chief (Robert Miller), unveiled the monument  (center).  Forrest M. Taylor, Pipe Major, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment (upper left) played the bagpipes.  Click here for links to other ceremonies.
