Community-Oriented Policing House
7007-A Baker Street
Fort Meade, MD 20755
The Community-Oriented Policing House program fosters a partnership between the military police and the installation's residents to educate the community about crime prevention, address concerns, safety and potential problems. The program operates through a partnership between Meade Communities LLC and the Directorate of Emergency Services. The community policing officer meets with Fort Meade residents and visits local schools to talk to students about the dangers of drug abuse and to work with school resource officers. He also helps mediate disputes between young people and helps set up police patrols of residents homes when they're been out of town.
