The TSC Warehouse provides a wide selection of equipment for short or long-term loan. We support over 200 permanent account holders covering West Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. A complete list of available training devices can be obtained at the TSC office.

Ranges and Training Areas


Small Arms Ranges:

Range Safety Briefing
Conducted on the second Tuesday of each month at 1000 in bldg 235 next to Range Control.
Range Gate Hours:
Monday-Friday 0630 – 1630 Saturday-Sunday 0700 – 1630 (Sep – Jan) Saturday-Sunday 0800 – 1630 (Feb – Aug)
Live Fire Hours:
Monday-Friday 0800 – 1600 Saturday-Sunday 0900 – 1630
Night Fire:
One Wednesday a month from 1600 – 2130. Gates close at 2200.

Training Areas:

Scheduling
After being certified, units will call (301) 677-7133 to availability of training area (Land Navigation Course, Obstacle Course, and CBRN Chamber).  If the desired date is available units will need to email a copy of the Range Safety Briefing Cards, an Operation Order (OPORD) of their training event along with Risk Assessment (DD2977) to usarmy.meade.usag.mbx.dptms-training-division@mail.mil.  The Range Liaison will check the OPORD and Risk Assessment for completeness and lock in your training event. If the OPORD and Risk Assessment is are not received within three days, the requested date will be available for other units to schedule. If the OPORD or Risk Assessment are incomplete, they will be returned for customer update(s).

Office Of Military Commissions (OMC)


Fort George G. Meade has been identified as a Support Installation for viewing legal proceedings taking place at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center. This support mission will continue for several years and require us to provide support on many different occasions.
