'The Day The Earth Stood Still'

Actress Patricia Neal poses with soldiers during the 1950 filming of the science-fiction film classic "The Day The Earth Stood Still".  Some of the military scenes in the movie were filmed at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.  The 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment supplied the vehicles, equipment, and soldiers for the movie segments depicting Army operations.
