Religious Support Office
We provide religious services, pastoral counseling, religious education, Bible studies, youth groups, choirs and retreats. Services are regularly conducted for the major faith groups - Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Muslim. Non-denominational services and activities are also held at various locations around post.

The Family Life Ministry Center

- The Family Life Ministry Center (FLMC) is a pastoral counseling center available to all branches of the military services, civilian employees and family members in the Fort Meade community.
- The goal of the FLMC is to offer professional and compassionate care to the whole person.
- The counselors at the FLMC are educated and trained in current and recognized models of counseling to provide you dedicated, professional service
- All counselors are equipped to address issues of faith that a individual may wish to discussed in addition, the FLMC will periodically offer workshops on parenting, marriage enrichment. dealing with divorce and more.
- Times and dates of these events can be found in the Soundoff! or by calling the Family Life Ministry Center.
- The FLMC is located on the corner of 6th Cavalry and Mapes Road.
- Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

How to request the use of Chapel facilities

- Complete the request form to use the chapel facilities and fax back to Argonne Hills Chapel Center, (301) 677-3686.
- Scheduling should be done in the following manner:
- Religious Activities:
- Religious activities can be planned as early as two years in advanced
- All religious activities should be planned prior to 90 days of the event
- Any religious activity scheduled prior to 90 days of the event will have priority
- Any religious activities planned less than 90 days prior to the event date will be considered just like a unit event
- Unit Activities:
- Unit activities can be planned between 45 to 90 days prior to the event
- Unit events that are scheduled between 45 to 90 days in advance can only be bumped by a funeral or memorial service
- 45 Days out:
- All training should be locked in prior to 45 days out
- Any training or religious activities turned in less than 45 days in advance must be accompanied by a memorandum requesting exception to policy signed by O3 or higher and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Religious Activities:
- Once the chapel facility is reserved a confirmation letter will be faxed to the point of contact for the event. Be sure to provide a contact number and/or fax number.
