Closed-circuit telecast of military commissions proceedings

Limited seating will be available Saturday, May 5 at the Post Theater to watch a closed-circuit telecast in the proceedings of U.S. v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, et al., which are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visit the related links to the right for information about directions to Fort Meade and installation access procedures. All visitors without a Department of Defense I.D. card must use Gate 7 at Reece Road and Maryland Route 175 to obtain a one-day pass. The Demps Visitor Control Center is located there.

Parking is available at the Smallwood Hall parking lot on Cooper Avenue here at Fort Meade.

Follow these directions from the Demps VCC to the Smallwood Hall parking lot.

• Start out going west on Reece Road (1 mi.)
• Turn left onto Cooper Avenue (.7 mi)
• There will be a sign directing visitors into the parking lot on Cooper Avenue.

The Post Theater is located approximately 300 yards down Cooper Avenue at the corner of Roberts and Llewellyn Avenues.
