All Soldiers who are going to be assigned to or attached to US Army Garrison Fort Meade, US Army partner or tenant units must attend a mandatory five day in-processing session once they've been arrived at their units in eMILPO.
During this session, service members receive a welcome from the installation commander and briefings regarding the Master Resiliency Training (phase I & II), Personnel, Finance, Transportation, Medical, Dental and Tri-care.
Garrison in-processing week will start based upon the day the service member arrived at the unit, i.e. reported into the unit on Tuesday, then the Soldier should report to personnel and be prepared to attend Newcomer's Orientation on Wednesday. This is a five day in-process cycle. Attendance of all five days is required to complete in-processing.
Upon completion of this in-processing session, all Soldiers will have met the Department of the Army mandatory training requirement in completing 16 hours of Master Resiliency Training, along with completing all other related in-processing requirements prior to reporting to the unit for duty.
Spouses are welcome and highly encouraged to attend the Wednesday Newcomer's Orientation.
